We are enjoying the nice weather and went to the park the other day...

Easter Eggstravaganza

This past weekend, we went to a local park for an Easter Eggstravaganza with our friends Justin and Jessica and Jackson. It was beautiful weather and there were lots of fun activities. Daphne had a great time, especially running after eggs, as they were tossed out onto the grass. Plus, she actually sat on the Easter Bunny's lap and smiled for a picture with the Easter Bunny (so what's so scary about Santa and not the Easter Bunny?). She rode a horse, or a pony - she corrected me and jumped in a big Bouncy House and pet some goats.

33 Weeks Plus

According to Daphne, my belly is not just big it's huuuuuuuuuge!

And a new haircut - it's supposed to look like a Katie Holmes haircut, what do you think? --It's not quite there, but much easier to take care of then before.

A Visit with Grandma and Grandpa

Two weekends ago, we visited my parents - well, actually Daphne visited my parents and I went to a nursing conference.


Daphne got to enjoy watching movies in the van on the way up. The DVD player worked well and kept her interest.

Daphne and my parents went swimming one night. They drained the Brunswick rec pool to 2 feet so little kids could play in the water.

The next day, they went to the library and the park.

And then we visited my Grandma.

It's finally Spring

Sometimes, Spring just can't come fast enough. All that cold, cold weather in January and February are suddenly gone and flowers are popping out of the ground. The previous owners in our house did a good job with planting spring flowers and now we have lots of crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and tulips to look forward to seeing. I was trying to teach Daphne the names of all the flowers - bleeding heart, peonies, sedum - she's not quite picking those up yet. We'll have to keep working on it.
