It's finally Spring

Sometimes, Spring just can't come fast enough. All that cold, cold weather in January and February are suddenly gone and flowers are popping out of the ground. The previous owners in our house did a good job with planting spring flowers and now we have lots of crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and tulips to look forward to seeing. I was trying to teach Daphne the names of all the flowers - bleeding heart, peonies, sedum - she's not quite picking those up yet. We'll have to keep working on it.

Here's to warmer days ahead!

Knitting & other crafts...

I'm especially proud of this one...
A new sweater for Baby Boy.

And just in time for Spring (Ha!Ha!) some mitten clips for the boy. I actually made some for Daphne after she lost a mitten in Kroger's and decided that while I was at it, I might as well make some for the baby too. And they took a lot less time than knitting a sweater.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hope you all got to drink some green beer.

Kevin enjoyed one on St. Patty's Day to celebrate his last final and his last class for a year. In April he starts rotations until next March/April when he gets to learn about all the new drugs that come out over the next year.

We're all happy he's done with classes for some time!

This past weekend my parent's came down from Cleveland and we ordered up some nice weather just for them - just in time for them to help rake up a lot of the stupid spiky pods from our sweet gum tree. Ahhh....Signs of spring.

Dad and Kevin went to a UC game. Mom and I made some jewelry. And Dad and I played some golf - on the Wii and I almost beat him, except for a terrible 9th hole. And of course the Doting Grandparents played with Daphne. She made some wonderful artwork with the help of my Mom. And I get to go up and see my parents again in two weeks, albeit for a nursing conference.
