Celebrating Birthday

We celebrated Daphne (3rd) and Kera's (4th) birthday while they were in town. Instead of another cake (we had a lot of cake that week and weekend), we celebrated with a kuchen (that is, a coffee cake for those non-Bohemian readers).

Daphne's Birthday

Daphne wanted to go to the zoo on her birthday. So we went.... only to find it was dollar day and there were a ton of people there. And they also had crafts, so Daphne had more fun in addition to just seeing the animals.

She also got her face painted and rode on the train... and had cotton candy (that's what is in her hand).

And then we had a princess cake... (her face looks funny because of the butterfly paint)
And she opened presents.

I think that Kevin thinks Daphne is older than 3 years....

Visiting over the 4th

We went up to Cleveland over the 4th. Our first big trip with the new baby. We only had to stop twice to feed Joey (but on the way back, we managed with only one stop). and Jeoy was introduced to lots of new people, family and friends.
